1. Claim or Create Citation Sites for your business. First and foremost you need to Claim the citation sites for your business. YOu may be wondering what a Citation site is. Basically its any site that lists your business name, address, and phone number.

Some even include descriptions about your business, your website URL, pictures, and even videos. My advice is ALWAYS to claim or create profiles on as many of the relevant citation sites as possible because Google is looking at these to confirm you have a legitimate business.

You should want to make it easy for Google to find you so Google can in turn, help potential customers looking for what you offer FIND YOU!

2. Start Asking. Most businesses just don’t ask their customers for Feedback.

My advice is to simply start asking the 99.9% of your happy customers to go online and leave a review.

Ask them to go to Yelp, Angies List, Google, Bing, etc and leave a review. You can go a LONG way towards improving your online reputation by asking customers you KNOW had a great experience to spread the word about you.
